Rose
Rose Mainprize began her journey with Reiki healing six years ago after overcoming some serious health issues, which led her to develop a deeper connection with self and spirit. This translated into a deep understanding of the mind-body connection. She is guided by her inner wisdom and holds a gentle and understanding space for others. Over the past five years, she has gained experience with animals, people and children.
She was raised in the beautiful rural surroundings of the Shuswap in British Columbia, with her family and many animals on their mountain, which facilitated a lifelong commitment to nurturing nature and beings.
Rose is an Usui Reiki Master Teacher and enjoys working with crystals to assist in promoting deeper healing and relaxation. Some of her other passions include writing music, playing her guitar, and her cat Abigail.
I went to see Rose after enduring a very stressful time in my life. Despite this time coming to an end, the anxiety that had built up during this period would not subsist. My chest felt tight and I could not let go of the the emotional pain that I had been holding over the past several months . During my session, I immediately felt comforted by the healing energy work Rose practiced and I felt a calmness surface that had been non-existent for months. After the session Rose took the time to discuss what she had done and was able not only to clarify the obvious causes of my anxiety, but showed me some of the deeper reasons I was holding onto this pain. Rose is a kind, thoughtful and magical healer.

I felt comfortable in Rose’s space right away, and she holds her space in such a way that in each session I can open up to her about my experiences and intentions for healing. I feel valid, accepted, and attended to. When I lay on the table and get into a healing space, I am met with Rose’s loving and healing energies. Each session that I have had has its own stand-alone meaning and depth. I feel so relaxed as Rose taps into my energies and makes adjustments as needed. I trust her as an important part of my healing journey.
My sessions last as long as they need to, and she gently does her work in a very intentional and compassionate way. I can tell that she wants her clients to be well, fulfilled, and free. She has certainly helped me in this regard. When the reiki portion of the visit is over, Rose guides me through anything that she feels I should know. This is where much insight is brought to light. It is equal to the session itself in terms of helpfulness and connecting to my higher self and my needs. I feel like I’m getting the benefit of a skilled practitioner and a wise life advisor. Rose is an old soul and taps into her creative genius in the most wonderful of ways.

Willow
Willow Mainprize was born in Vancouver, British Columbia and spent most of her childhood on her family’s farms in the Shuswap and Fraser Valley where she developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors and animals, fostering a special connection with horses.
Willow is a third generation alternative therapy practitioner. Her grandmother, incredibly progressive for the times, brought acupressure and reflexology to her work as a nurse in hospitals for adults and children with physical and mental disabilities. Her mother, a Therapeutic Touch Practitioner, introduced to her the healing benefits of Energy Therapy at a very young age. It wasn’t until she experienced the profound spiritual, emotional, and physical healing benefits of Reiki with her own horse, Pippin, as well as within her own personal practice, that she was inspired to devote her life to Reiki and share it with the world.
Willow is an Usui Reiki Master Teacher and Heart Resonance Practitioner. Willow completed the Animal Reiki Core Curriculum with world-renowned Animal Reiki Master Teacher Kathleen Prasad. Willow is a member of the Canadian Reiki Association as well as the Shelter Animal Reiki Association (SARA). She finds her volunteer work with the BCSPCA’s abandoned, abused and neglected animals especially rewarding. When she is not operating her all-natural medicinal bodycare company, Rocky Mountain Botanicals or working as a Reiki Practitioner and Teacher, she can most likely be found enjoying her time in the North Shore mountains with her rescue dog Henry.
